The NexBus features a GM Chassis with a dedicated Clean Fuels Liquid Injection System and has a 159″ wheelbase, 324 horsepower, and 373 Torque. The NexBus has a 3 tank configuration for 37 gallons with an estimated 350 mile range. GM offers a 5 Yr/ 100,000 miles service warranty on the bus. These buses are in the California, Washington, Oregon, and Texas markets. The incremental cost is $3,000 over diesel and $13,000 over gas. However, the Department of Energy (DOE) has money available as a buy down- up to $10,000.
