Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program Profiles The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Use of Propane Autogas Fleet Vehicles!

The Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program (SPADP) promises to convert 1,200 gasoline vehicles to propane autogas and build 17 fueling stations from Maryland to Louisiana. They are a leader in the industry and have helped raise awareness about propane autogas for years!

Recently, SPADP put together a case study video profiling the The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia who have converted more than 30 vehicles to run on propane autogas, one of the most widely used alternative fuels in the world.  “SPADP fleets are saving around $1.25 per gallon using autogas vs. gasoline, even considering the 90% MPG equivalency between autogas and gasoline!” In the video you learn that, “The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office expects to save about 40,000 in fuel costs annually-for every 30 vehicles they convert! That’s before factoring in their lower maintenance costs, since autogas has a higher octane rating and burns cleaner than gasoline.”
