Sorry, I’ve been out for the past week. I had an emergency Tonsillectomy and it took me down pretty hard! However, it looks like things are thriving in the propane autogas industry, especially after the successful ACT Expo that took place last week in Long Beach, CA!
Today, I wanted to mention an Emergency Responders conference in Texas next month that promises to be a great training event and opportunity for responders, marketers, and safety officials to learn the latest in propane fire prevention and response and to network with other propane professionals.
The conference runs June 12-13 at the TEEX-Brayton Training Field in College Station, Texas, with two full days of training sessions, panel discussions, and field exercises. The exercises include a transport truck fire, a bulk storage fire, and a propane school bus demo.
Propane marketers interested in registering should get in touch with Stuart Flatow, Propane Education & Research Council Vice President of Safety and Training. The conference is presented by PERC, the Propane Council of Texas, and the Texas Propane Gas Association.
