Last Friday’s “Did You Know” post concerned the Propane Mower End-User Incentive Program and today I bring you news about a new available webinar entitled, Propane Mowers: Getting Ready for Mowing Season. Currently, the webinar is available in the archive section of the Third Thursday Engine Fuel Webinar series from the Propane Education & Research Council.
The half-hour webinar features Emileo Ramirez, commercial sales manager for Briggs & Stratton Yard Power Products Group, discussing his firm’s Ferris and Snapper Pro propane mowers.
During the webinar Ramirez notes that Briggs & Stratton’s propane engine delivers fewer harmful emissions compared to the same gas engine and that it meets Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board standards. Ferris and Snapper Pro offer propane-fueled mowers with 61 inch and 72 inch decks.
Last March, during the event, “Moving Texans with Propane,” at the City of Temple: Mayborn Civic and Convention Center I received my very own tutorial on how to operate a propane-powered mower! I think I may have found my second calling ;)
