DFW Clean-Cities Stakeholders Partner with ROUSH CleanTech

The Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Clean-Cities Coalition is partnering with ROUSH CleanTech to offer propane autogas vehicle technology to fleets in the North Central Texas Region. The purpose of the program is to help Clean-Cities stakeholders evaluate and identify how propane autogas vehicles can help reduce fleet emissions and operating costs.  A ROUSH CleanTech cargo van will initially be available for fleets to integrate into their daily activities. When the vehicle becomes available, fleets will be able to test it out for a couple of days, a week, or longer if so desired.

When the vehicle is not being used by a fleet, it will be used by North Central Texas Council of Governments and DFW Clean-Cities staff at outreach events to educate fleets and attendees about the benefits of propane autogas vehicles.  In the near future, DFW Clean-Cities hopes to have additional vehicles and technologies to offer as loaner vehicles.

Currently, the DFW Clean-Cities Coalition is in the process of compiling a list of fleets who might be interested in testing out the van in their fleets once it becomes available. If you are interested in testing this vehicle (or other Roush products) in your fleet please contact Pamela Burns ASAP at 817.704.2510 or by email: pburns@nctcog.org. If you have any questions concerning ROUSH technology please contact Robert Little, Fleet Account Executive at 734.679.7526 or by email: Robert.Little@Roush.com.

Congratulations to both DFW Clean-Cities and ROUSH CleanTech on what will be an extremely successful partnership benefiting Texas greatly!
