Off-Grid Training Course for Construction Professionals

Energy independence, pursuit of a more sustainable life style, moving away from the city and economics are all cited as common reasons for choosing to live “off-grid.” Recently, the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has developed an online training course that helps construction professionals integrate propane in off-grid residential construction projects.

Choosing to Live Off-Grid: Energy Generation and Fuel Choices,” is available through PERC’s Propane Training Academy and is approved by the National Association of Home Builders, the American Institute of Architects, and the U.S. Green Building Council.

  • Understand the differences between an off-grid and standby electrical power generator.
